Letters to and from Theodora Trench sent during her childhood.
The letters cover a variety of topics and is mostly made up of letters sent to her father Benjamin Bloomfield Trench. In the letters she discusses her trip to St . Paul's Cathedral, London and her stay at Berthorpe, Compton, Guildford, England.
The file also includes two letters from Theodora Trench to 'Tee'.

Letters belonging to Theodora Trench dating from 1923 until 1927.

The majority of the letters are from Benjamin Bloomfield Trench. In the letters Benjamin discusses his daily actitives such as attending Luncheon, attending social gatherings, receiving visitors and traveling.

Benjamin Bloomfield Trench's attempted engagement.

Letters sent to Henry Trench, Georgiana Mary Amelia Trench (née Bloomfield) and Benjamin Bloomfield Trench in regards to Benjamin's wish to get engaged to Miss [Amy] Martin.

Included in the file is a letter from Augustus L. Martin, 65 Cornwall Gardens, Queens Gate, asking the Trench family to allow the engagement to go ahead albeit for a longer period than originally planned. Henry and Georgiana opposed the marriage as they believed Benjamin was in no position in life to marry.

In the letters Dora describes her travels across Sweden and Norway with Benjamin Bloomfield Trench. Dora expresses her astonishment that English people do not visit countries such as Norway and her joy at seeing natural phenomena such as the fjords.

Examples of letters contained within the file include a letter from E. Byrne, 10 Havelock Square, Bath Avenue, Dublin sent to Blanche Trench. In the letter Byrne discusses Blanche's sadness over her brother Benjamin Bloomfield Trench's engagement, and a letter from [Kerrern] to Ethel Gore Booth discussing hotels, travel guides and 'Aunt Haddie's' health.

The file also contains a letter from Mary to Jackie. Within the letter Mary discusses The Birr Show catalogue and rich Americans who will be attending.

'Dear Sir,
Your letter of 16th inst. received, and I send you herewith for your information some copies of audited balnce sheets of Co-operative Dairy Societies which I hope will be useful to you. I hope the project of starting a co-operative Creamery for MoneyGall may prove successful. We shall be glad at any time to give you any information or advice in our power.'

Also included is a letter from James Guilfoyle, John Murphy, and John Healy dated 25 November 1895
'Sir,
We the undersigned having had the misfortune of being found trespassing on part of your property known as the lands of Clinoe with dogs in our possession on the 20th inst by Mr George [Frend] of Silver Hills, and for which we tender an apology to your honor and by to assure you that it being our first time in trespassing on your property that during our natural life we shall never attempt to repeat such an act. By hoping that this apology will satisfy your honour and again we say that we [resoundingly] report what we have done. With profound respect we beg to remain yours honour's most obedient servants.'

The majority of this file is made up of wedding of Sheelah Trench's marriage to Langlois Massy Lefroy which took place on 15 October 1924. Photographs of this wedding include photos of the bridge and groom, a portrait of Benjamin Bloomfield Trench and groups of the extended wedding party which was made up of Theodora Trench, Rosemary Lefroy, Diana Broadbent, Phoebe Lefroy, Reggie Chenevix Trench and Stanley Dobson.
The file also contains photographs of Hugh and Helen Lefroy's wedding day, Tony and Judith Hodgson's wedding day and a photograph of an unknown bride.
