Letter from William Gainfort at 69 Lower Dorset Street, Dublin, to his nephew Henry Crosbie, regarding a young man named Francis leaving on a ship. William Gainfort requests that Henry purchase a bible and prayer book for Francis at William Gainfort's expense, if Francis has not left yet.

Ms. abstract from the marriage certificate of Charles William Bury, commonly called Lord Tullamore and Harriet Charlotte Beaujolois Campbell, Shawfield Lanarkshire, Kingdom of Scotland, performed in the chapel formerly called the Jesuits, but now the British Factory at Leghorn. The ceremony was performed by the Reverend Thomas Hall, chaplain to the British Factory at Leghorn, aided by the Reverend William Pagett, rector of Patten, county of Surrey. The couple was already married in the house of Lord Burghurst, envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary at the Court of Florence on 26 February 1821.

The compilations consist of a small quarto notebook containing MS. Copies of 1642 depositions concerning the neighbourhood of Birr; another containing a history of Birr Church of Ireland church (taken from vestry books, parish registers, etc), 1760-1903); and two succession lists of Birr incumbents, 1612-1912. The sub-section also includes a series of printed annual reports on the parish and on the diocese of Killaloe and Kilfenora, 1900-10.
