John Stroud Hosford, son of John Stroud Hosford and Selena Hosford, was born in 1872. He became a member of the London Royal College of Physicians and the Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons.

They had three children; Florence Ainslie Hosford (b. 1874); Edith Josephine Ainslie Hosford (b. 1876); Douglas Ainslie Hosford (1879-1969). Thomas Stroud Hosford died on 22 April 1929, at his home at 37 Richmond Hill, Richmond, Surrey, England.
