Includes also ms resolution of Banagher parish Council stating that the sanitation in Banagher requires immediate attention.

Two minute books, a lecture record book, and a postage book for the association.

The minute books, dating from 1967 when the group was formed, contain a record of committee meetings held on a monthly basis, until its winding down in 1982 due to dwindling numbers and loss of subscriptions. They detail the finances of the association and plans for annual lecture programmes, including speakers and titles of papers. Also includes newspaper cuttings and some loose correspondence relating to national and international women's issues.

The lecture record book contains details and sometimes a synopsis of each lecture delivered to the association by its invited speakers, and also contains newspaper cuttings describing the lecture and its attendance. This book was also used to record meetings of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women.

The postage book records financial outlay for postage and stationary from 1968-1979.

Two softbound volumes containing manuscript minutes of monthly meetings of Banagher Improvement Association. Minutes relate to matters such as securing sites for a Fair-Green, improvement of footpaths, securing a weighbridge for Banagher, improvement of the rail service to Banagher (30th July 1927) and public lighting (11th November 1927). Relates also to claims for one of the new beet factories by Western and Midland Beet Sugar Factory Promoters Union, and local Relief Work Schemes (11th January 1933).

Typewritten Memo from Proinsias Bulfin T. D. informing that he shall see the Minister for local Government about the application by Banagher Improvement Association under the Relief Fund Scheme.

Draft letter from R. H. Moore, Secretary of Banagher Improvement Association to D. O'Keefe Esq., Commissioner Tullamore, referring to requests for grant of an additional £300 from Relief Scheme to 'cope with the acute distress here'.
