These registers are in the same format 'Form 29' as the County Home registers in Series 5 of this catalogue, but are exclusively used for admission to the hospital and record the types of illness and disease necessitating admission. Columns usually used to record data on county home 'inmates' are re-purposed, such as the column for 'Observations on condition of inmates when admitted' is changed to 'Recommended by'.
