File relating to an attempt to amalgamate Borrisnafarney parish with Aghnameadle parish in 1912. Contained within the file are five letters and copies of the letters from Benjamin Bloomfield Trench to the secretary of the Representative Church Body, Anthony Maude, 52 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin. The file also contains numerous documents which raise objections to the union of the parishes, such as two copies of a memo listing reasons why Borrisnafarney refuses to support the union and a memo which states that the main objection to union was the financial difficulty that may result from it. Pamphlet from 'The annual meeting of the Diocesan Synod Killaloe and Kilfenora. Also includes Borrisnafarney parish and Dunkerrin Parish Minutes of Borrisnafarney select vestry meeting 28 July 1915.

Shannon improvement petition

A petition to The Right Honorable Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, Bt, Chief Secretary for Ireland, on behalf of the owners of lands periodically injured by Shannon inundations. The petition asks that the river would be confined to its bed during hay time, to keep the flood level to a moderate depth, states that they are willing to pay a proper proportion of the expenses, that Killaloe to Castleconnell would be left out of the improvements, that regulating weirs should be constructed, that steam dredges should be procured, that the Shannon Act of 1874 should be amended. The petition was signed by [Viscount] Avonmore and T. Butler Stoney.

Negatives and a photograph of flowers on a grave. The photograph depicts the funeral of Georgina Sarah Lloyd Edwards née Trench, an inscription on the back of the photograph reads 'My sister Georgie Ll: E in Grave. She died 12 November 1912'.
