Copy of an indenture: This indenture made the ninth day of October in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and eleven between the associated Irish mine company of the first part, Brabazon noble senior late of Cronebane in the county of Wicklow but now of America, esquire of the second part, William Rowley late of Ravensworth in the county of Dublin in that part of the United Kingdom called Ireland but now of the city of Bristol in that part of the United Kingdom called England, esquire, sole assignee of the estate and effects of the said b.n bankrupt of the third part, Abraham Mills of the city of Dublin of the fourth part, and of militia of the fifth part. Includes Two copies of map of Cronebane in the county of Wicklow the state of the Associated Irish Mine Company and to which the deed refers.

The file includes their marriage certificate and statements of account showing the value of the late Langlois Lefroy's, Sheelah Lefroy's investments under the provisions of her marriage settlement of 1924 and letters sent to Theodora Trench regarding the wedding planning.

File of records resulting from Benjamin Bloomfield Trench's work with The Johannesburg Consolidated Investment Company.

The file includes a copy of a report written by Benjamin Bloomfield Trench to the 'Chairman & directors, Johannesburg Consolidated Investment company'. Benjamin argues that reason for him writing the report was because 'prior to my departure for England I think its desirable I should report to you my views as to the working of the company's business and its administration and submit for your consideration a few suggestions in connection therewith.' Within the report Benjamin covers topics such as improving profits, future policy, the mining department and representation on the board.

The file also includes documents such as a balance sheet from 30 June 1895 and a letter from William Bailey accountant answering profit and loss enquiries.

The file includes a copy of Benjamin's cash account, a copy of Benjamin's will, and newspaper obituaries. The obituary in the 'Offaly Chronicle' published on 4 February 1926 describes his death and life.
'Death has deprived us of an estimable gentlemen in the person of Mr Benjamin Bloomfield Trench, of Lougton, Cloughjodan, who passed away at his residence, 41 Onslow Gardens, London. He was the eldest son of Mr Henry Trench, of Cangort Park, Shinrone, and the Hon. Mrs Trench, daughter of the first Baron Bloomfield. He married, in 1889, Miss Dora Turnor, of Stoke Rochford, Lincolnshire, and leaves two daughters. Mr Trench had been a justice of the peace for Monaghan and a Deputy Lieutenant for County Tipperary. He was a member of the London Stock Exchange.
While in residence at Loughton, which, in recent years was, unfortunately, not frequent owing to the unhappy turmoil of the times , he was very popular and familiar figure, especially during the Great War, when he took an active interest in the advancement of the recruiting campaigns in and around his district and afterwards he evinced an especial interest in the well-being of those who responded. That the late Mr Trench was deeply devoted to Loughton was exemplified in his wish that his remains should be interred there, and they were accordingly conveyed home on Friday, and next day, in the presence of a large, representative and sympathetic assembly, laid to rest in the family burial place in the immediate vicinity of his residence. We joing with all friends in tendering to his daughters, Miss Trench and Mrs Lefroy, our sincere sympathy. We hope to publish next week a complete report of the funeral, etc.'

The file also contains an order of service for Benjamin's memorial held in St. Pauls, Onslow Square memorial on 30 January 1926 and two copies of the order of service in Borrisnafarney Church held on the same day.
