There are individual field sheets which may contain details to the level of preservation, the nature of surviving structures, walls, earthworks, wooden structures, boundaries and neighbouring waterways or woodlands. Often there is a sketch of the site with interior and exterior elevations as well as site and floor plans. In addition the files include typewritten reports and photographs.
