Appointment from The Court of Bankruptcy and Insolvency, Ireland, to Francis Lamb, Governor of Dundalk Gaol, enabling him to, "take and receive all and every the Recognizance or Recognizances of Sureties into which any persons may be willing to enter for the due appearance of Insolvents" in Dundalk.
Diary kept by Francis Lamb recording the daily events at the prison from 7 November 1837 - 25 January 1838, including what time the prison opened and the activities of prisoners.
