Papers of Reverend Adam Lamb which remained at her residence, Woodfield House, and were inherited along with the property by his brother Keith Lamb.

W. S. and T. W. Trench Annual Reports to the 9th Baron Digby

Annual reports, rentals and accounts submitted by the Trenches to Lord Digby, 9th Baron Digby of Geashill, beginning with an introductory survey of the estate in 1857, followed by successive annual reports from 1858 until 1872. In 1870, Thomas Weldon Trench resigned his position and W. S, Trench employed Reginald Digby, nephew of Lord Digby, to replace T. W, Trench on the estate. W. S. Trench died in 1872, and Reginald Digby continued thereafter as sole agent for estate.

Included in this file are two volumes of Workhouse accounts books, documents relating to the care and upkeep of Loughton House, Borrisnafarney Church, attempts to improve flooding along the river Shannon and a list of Protestant children attending Cangort School.

W. S. and T. W. Trench Labourers' Cottage Improvements

Two volumes containing watercolour paintings depicting improvements in labourers' cottages. Each page contains two images, the cottage as it was before improvements and as it was after. The 1860 volume in particular reveals cottages transformed by the improvements. The 1865 volume is less dramatic, mainly depicting the installation of windows in the cottages, and in one case, the construction of a horseshoe shaped forge.

Dispensary District Notices

11outsized broadsheets (with many duplicates) displaying information on the dispensary districts of Clara, Killoughey, Philipstown, Tullamore and Kilbeggan. Each notice displays the name of the medical officer and his hours and office location, as well as details of the relieving officer for the district, the committee of management, and the wardens, all of whom could issue tickets for medical relief.
