- ‘Burn's Cenotaph, Allaway, near Ayr. The foundation of this monument was laid on 25th January 1820, the anniversary of the poet's natal day. It contains a bust of the poet by Park, and an interesting case of relics, including the Bibles presented by Burns to Highland Mary, one of them containing a lock of her hair’.
- ‘Tam O'Shanter and Souter Johnny from the original and far famed statues by "Thom" now in the Burns Cenotaph, Ayr’.
